My very first blog. I hope I'm doing this right... 

So as of yesterday I've been here (Halifax) for one week.  It's been quiet the change so far. So I know I won't have that much extra time on my hands while going to school full time, but if anyone has any suggestions on where the Halifax hot spots are that would be great! What is Halifax known best for? Other than its beautiful surroundings and terribly cold winter weather. Where are the best places to go hiking, for dinner, shopping, etc. Fill me in Locals!!! thanks
